Energy Management and Monitoring
In addition to allocating costs for the services provided (utility and energy supply and disposal) on a user-pays basis, energy controlling and monitoring have as a primary target the mapping of the energy systems of the properties in the financial statements and the optimization of them based on the collected data. To this end, the department works closely with scientific institutes to develop measures for improving the systems.
Tasks (as part of the Energy Optimization Measures (EOM))
- Identification of energy-saving potential
- Support for the measures to be implemented by FM and PB
- Controlling and monitoring the measures

Energy Management Tasks
The energy management systems, ENerGO+ and Efficio, ensure the

- user-based allocation of utility consumption
for electricity, heat, drinking water, compressed air, process water, and wastewater on the Campus North.

The University Responsibilities currently require special consideration and are therefore still administered in a separate energy management system (Kieback & Peter EMS). A migration to the Efficio system is currently being planned. In the future, ENerGO+ will be replaced by the waveware energy management module from Loy & Hutz and expanded to include the metering points at Campus South, Campus East, and Campus West.
